CLUB INTERNACIONAL D’ANDORRA
The policy and aim of the current Board: Our policy will be to provide
practical opportunities for communication among members and a range of
social activities to appeal to a variety of tastes. Additionally, activity
groups meet regularly to enable like-minded members to work together on
specific activities. We aim to provide ample
communications about and for the Club. The main medium for communication
about the Club and within the Club is its website at www.international-club-andorra.com.
The Club produces a bi weekly newsletter summarizing events in We aim to provide relaxed surroundings to enable members and
new members to meet each other. The physical “anchor” for the Club is its weekly coffee morning held every Wednesday
from 11.30 am to 12.30 noon at the Hotel Ibis, in Escaldes
with club members
acting as hosts. We aim to sponsor an ample range of social activities. These
are arranged each month
by individual members with the
sponsorship of the Board. Activities include short trips to We aim to be self sufficient financially by operating all our
social activities on a break even basis. We aim to provide a platform for the formation and operation of
specialist activity groups.The main activity groups within the Club currently are
the International Singers, and the art, computer, investment and patchwork
groups. The Board will gladly sponsor any members wishing to set up and
promote other activity groups. What is always needed to sustain any
activity group is one or more interested and active sponsors. We aim to sponsor a Helpline which seeks to provide practical
and emotional support to international residents to supplement the services
provided officially – and to alleviate the inevitable difficulties of being
in a foreign country. All members working with the Helpline give their
services free. If
