Dear friends,
On the 17th of March 2011, a group of 18 members went on a coach trip to the International Patchwork exhibition in Sitges. The exhibits were spread over 5 locations in town, this year they had two large tents with shops and lots of original ideas.
The exhibition was of high quality, the dazzling variety of subjects, and techniques, are impressive. Just the thought of the many, many hours of work which has been put in these works of art, the highly precise craftsmanship are worth our admiration. Valerie was honoured to exhibit one of her master piece. see photos below
After a nice lunch in the El Rincon de Pepe restaurant, we had another 2 hours, before returning to Andorra. The weather was marvellous for a day out to the sea.
