NEW YEAR LUNCH AT CAL PAUET

You are invited to join us for the annual lunch at CAL PAUET
on THURSDAY JANUARY 26th 2012 at 13:30 for 14:00

Cal Pauet is about 5km over the border in Spain, on the right hand side of the road to Civis.

The menu is short but substantial – and only suitable for carnivores (no fish or vegetarian options are offered).  Those who joined us in previous years will recall some excellent food. Diners will be able to help themselves to all of the following dishes:

Welcome copa de cava
Appetizers: Salad with sausage, meats, snails, pa amb tomaquet
First course: Mountain Paella, Canelloni, Trinxat and Macaronies
Main course: Chicken, Lamb, Rabbit, Wild Boar, Pig’s Trotters
Dessert: A selection of traditional Catalan desserts
Coffee

The price, including cava, water, wine and tip, is 23€ for members and their visiting guests. (25€ for non-members).  Places for this popular event are limited, so please book and pay early to secure your place.  Bookings close midday Monday 23rd January

Directions to CAL PAUET (telephone 00 34 973 353 484, Sant Joan Fumat): Exit Andorra through the frontier on the Seu d’Urgell road; turn right at the new roundabout; cross the river and turn left – sign CIVIS; follow the road for 4km; pass the small village of Sant Joan Fumat off to the left; Cal Pauet is then 200 metres on the right; its car park is just beyond on the left.
