Gossera – care for dogs

The gossera in Andorra is open to the public every day (apart from public holidays) from 10am – 12.45pm.

Two charities organise volunteers to walk the dogs 4 times a week.

Amics Dels Animals go to the gossera every Tuesday & Thursday morning & Laika volunteer Saturday & Sunday mornings.

The gossera is located on the Andorran border with Spain, next to the Duana.

Some volunteers drive from the La Massana area & share cars & are always to willing to take additional volunteers.

On Saturday mornings a group of volunteers go to the gossera in La Seu to walk the dogs from 10 -1. Car share can be organised from St. Julia. The gossera is difficult to find but is close to the Aravell golf club.

All the dogs in both gosseras live in difficult circumstances & if volunteers do not walk the dogs, the dogs will be in their cages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Walking the dogs is great fun & fabulous exercise & no pressure will be put on you to adopt a dog!
