Club House

Since June 2017 we have opened a Club House. Many activities and events are taken place in this new location.

The Clubhouse is located at Giberga Apartments, Carretera L’Aldosa 25, L’Aldosa, La Massana.

As you come into L’Aldosa from the La Massana/Ordino direction, Giberga Apartments are on left – opposite is the entrance to their swimming pool – you go in through that entrance and then down the stairs to the ICA Clubhouse.  Parking area is opposite the pool.

The Club would like to make books available for Members to borrow on a completely informal basis and at any time the Clubhouse is open.

With this in mind, would members please search their cupboards and shelves for novels and biographies in a good state to donate and  then deliver them to the Clubhouse?  As we have limited space we cannot accommodate reference books/coffee table or guide books.

Louella will be happy to discuss plans, receive books and launch the Bookworms concept and will be at the Clubhouse, you can reach Louella on louellaturner@andorra.ad

We also have a large collection of DVD’s  Films and complete series of times long bye.

Live TV Streaming

I am pleased to inform you that the new 65inch TV was today installed at the Clubhouse. Using our Mag Box we have opened an account with a TV streaming service on a monthly basis and paid one month in advance (€30) – this gives us access to most English language TV channels around the world, including many sports channels, as well as a library of some 1000  current movies (updated weekly). Additionally we have a few locally sourced terrestrial channels (this needs to be improved and the Giberga are working together with us to achieve this).  A DVD player which can handle Zones 1 & 2 standard discs has been installed. A sound system will be connected tomorrow, as well as a box containing several thousand movies.

We believe our Members will be well served !

Best wishes from Diana
